How to Prevent Repairs in Jacuzzi Spa Pools?

As an owner of a Jacuzzi (ג'קוזי) or spa pool, the question of its repairing will sooner or later become very common. A spa or hot tub is a complex mechanical piece of equipment with literally 100's of parts that can fail. The cost of hot spa pool repairs, once a spa is out of warranty will get expensive very fast.
Below are some suggestions what you can do to prevent repairs to your spa, hot tubs or Jacuzzi:
Strange noises
If you hear sounds or noises from your spa pool or Jacuzzi   (ג'קוזי) that you have not heard before, there is a problem brewing. It is not one of those problems that will go away if you don't pay attention to it. On the contrary, most notice problems are a first warning from the spa that something bigger is about to break.

Leaks
A spa pool normally does not leak. Most spa pools will eventually develop leaks. Detecting leaks can be one of the most costly repairs done to a spa. Spa leaks are many times very difficult to find and you will end up having a repair technician there for hours over several days.

Heaters
Water and electricity can be a dangerous combination. The heating in most spas are submerged in water 24/7. If the heating material may be fail and electricity gets into the water, electrocution could follow. Therefore it is required by law that all new spas are protected with GFCI breakers. A GFCI will shut off the electricity going to the spa, in a matter of thousands of a second, if the GFCI senses that electricity is going into the water.

Conclusion
The above mentioned problems are just a few of all the items that can go wrong with your spa pool (בריכות ספא). The single most important thing you as a home owner can do is to contact your local spa pool repair company as soon as you hear, notice or see anything out of the ordinary.
